Ghandour
is the founder of T.I. Capital, is responsible for the overall strategic vision of the fund. Ziad oversees the active management of the fund as well as investor relations. He is a director in three of T.I Capital's portfolio companies. A multi-dimensional international business specialist, Ziad has spent more than 10 years before establishing T.I Capital in the Oil and Gas industry. He was instrumental in transforming Falcon International, a vertically integrated oil company, into a globally diversified holding company. As a third generation "oil man," Ziad’s primary focus was on structuring oil ventures using his extensive network of contacts around the Globe. In addition to his posts at T.I. Capital and Falcon International, Ziad maintains the title of president at a number of other companies worldwide. Ziad graduated from Pepperdine University with degrees in both business and political science. He later graduated from Pepperdine prestigious PKE (Presidential and Key Executive) MBA program. Currently he is working on his doctorate degree in Organizational Change. |
Abdelhamid Mikati
An extensive and wide experience in a diversified business environment, varying from trading to contracting at multiple senior levels for the past 25 years. After graduating from the American university of Beirut he joined EL Houda,the main steel mill factory in both Lebanon and the gulf at the time, where he soon became the trading division manager for about a decade. During that period he had sales and various operational responsibilities. He was able to establish strong relations with multinational clients and acquire good knowledge of sophisticated barter and trading operations. Thereafter he oversaw the construction and running of the biggest private tank farm project in Lebanon. For the last few years Abdelhamid established and was the driving force in the success of the Operations in Qatar. The company is a contracting company in the offshore arena, where it was granted a multiyear contract for the Qatari coast guard. Other activities that Abdelhamid oversee are an environmental company that helped clean up the worst marine disaster in the Mediterranean Sea this century, that company is also looking to take over operation and maintenance of port facilities in the region.

Ali
Tabsh
works with management's "due diligence" team in evaluating candidate technology and Internet ventures. He contributes in assessing business plans in addition to addressing objectives, concerns, competition, market conditions, and financials. Ali brings valuable professional and academic experience as well as a strong commitment to the fields of financial analysis and investment management to his role within the TI Capital team. His international work experience in management coupled with his strong qualitative and quantitative skills and familiarity with business practices in Europe and Asia builds upon the strong global, business-minded perspective of our dynamic and focused team. Ali received his BA from Franklin and Marshall College and is a MA in Business Management at Antioch University Los Angeles.

Mazen Halawi
Comes from a Business Development background. Mazen joins TI Capital from IBM where he was responsible for Business Development and Client Relationship Management, handling several key accounts. Prior to that Mazen worked in the power and communication field where he handled operations and business development. His wealth of experience and dedication has helped produce winning results.

Ahmad Saad
Started his career with Ansaldo GIA in the rehabilitation of the power sector in Lebanon. As an electrical engineer, he was responsible for the rehabilitation and commissioning of the power block in Jieh Thermal Power Plant. Later he was transferred to join the start up team. During that period Ahmad also performed the commissioning and setting of the protection systems in the hydraulic power plants (Leuis Arash and Abdel Aal Hydraulic Power Plants). After the completion of the rehabilitation project, he was employed by Ansaldo Energia to supervise the construction of electrical equipments in Zahrani Combined Cycle Power Plant 450 MW. He was nominated by the Site Manager to be fully responsible for all electrical construction activities in the electrical control building of the power plant. Later, he was employed by PSM “Power Services & Management Company” to occupy the position of the Operations Manager for Both CCPPs (Zahrani & Deir Aamar 2*450 MW). Being also a Quality Manager, he was able with his team to obtain the ISO 9001:2000 license for PSM during a very short period. Ahmad attended many courses and conferences in Project Management, Operation and Maintenance Management, QA/QC as well as HSE Management in Lebanon and Gulf Area. Ahmad is a holder of a Master’s degree in power engineering. |
